Our Kingfishers had a fantastic day visiting The Newt in Somerset. The focus of the visit was to tour the museum and Roman Villa. The children found out about life in Roman times and engaged in different activities including creating a Roman menu and making a mosaic. This was our first school visit to The Newt; it was a real success and has enriched the children’s school learning about The Romans.
